GoAntiques - The New Antiques Auction Site

In a posting in her blog, Could GoAntiques Solve Problem of Small eBay Sellers? and on the AuctionBytes web site, GoAntiques Sold to Worthpoint, Will Launch eBay Alternative Ina Steiner states;

Atlanta-based WorthPoint has signed a letter of intent to acquire Ohio-based GoAntiques, an online network for buying and selling antiques and collectibles that has 350,000 registered members and nearly a million visits and thousands of transactions each month. GoAntiques also told users this week it would launch its own auction site in September as a result of eBay's decision to close its eBay Live Auctions platform.

The comments on the blog post are very interesting and give Antique sellers a glimpse into how this may turn out.
